Dr. Philip Cole receives grant funding from National Science Institute

Dr. Philip Cole, Chair and Professor of Physics, has been awarded over $300,000 in grant funding to probe the structure of nucleons (protons and neutrons) and to engage undergraduate students in nuclear physics research.  

The physics department at ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø University provides opportunities for you to explore a career in physics or a physics-related profession. Physics majors are encourge to take part in research opportunities and have the option to join the Society of Physics Students ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø Chapter affiliated with the American Physical Society.

Our Bachelor of Science degree plan places a strong emphasis on physics and mathematics. It can be tailored to meet the needs of students preparing for graduate school or employment in a variety of fields.
