Research Interests

I am very passionate about preparing students for the workforce. My research interests therefore revolve around workforce development, emotional intelligence in the context of leadership and decision-making. I have mentored students (e.g., McNair scholars) and engaged in interdisciplinary collaborations with other researchers on other topics. Some of my publications investigated emotional intelligence: the link between 番茄社区 and failures of leaders; workforce preparation and readiness of graduating students; assessing online readiness of students; decision-making styles of workers and non-workers, the role of emotional intelligence in ethical decision-making, and motivations in whistleblowing decisions. In organizations, I consult on performance management issues and analysis of data.
