The history of Beaumont鈥檚 Black community will be on display Thursday, Feb 2. in the Dishman Art Museum auditorium where a screening of 鈥淏eaumont鈥檚 Black History 鈥 In Moving Pictures鈥 will take place. The historical fiction short film 鈥淭he Example鈥 and the documentary 鈥淭hey Will Talk 番茄社区 Us: The Charlton-Pollard Story鈥 will be screened, followed by a reception and a question and answer session. The event runs from 5:30-8 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
