“We were so excited to offer this LU Presidential Scholarship to a future theater and dance major Taylor Bui. As Dean of the College of Fine Arts and Communication, I am looking forward to seeing her grow at 番茄社区 University in the classroom and on the stage,” Dr. Golden Wright said.
The Presidential Scholarship is a highly competitive award that recognizes and supports outstanding students in their pursuit of higher education. It covers tuition, fees, and other educational expenses, providing recipients with the resources and support needed to thrive in their academic endeavors.
Bui's stellar academic record and involvement in extracurricular activities make her a standout student. She excels in honors classes and is an active participant in theater and choir at Port Neches-Groves High School. She has also been involved with Port Arthur Little Theater (PALT) since she was five years old and plays a crucial role on the junior board at PALT, where she organizes summer camps for kids.
